Today's Assignment
1. Create a document in your Poetry Folder and name it "How To Be..." Type a minimum 15 line poem giving specific instructions (based on research) on how to be your chosen poet. Include the bibliography information at the foot of the document;
2. Find a poem by the poet that you like and understand. Copy and paste the poem to a document and name the document the title of the poem; Include the bibliography information at the foot of the document
3. Create another document in your Poetry Folder and name it Literary Analysis of "Name of your poem." What should be included in your literary analysis? Type a one-page, double-spaced, 12-14 font literary analysis of the poem.
***All of the above are due by Monday, October 20th. You will be reading your "How To Be..." Poem, the selected poem of the poet, and your analysis of the poem to the class. The assignment will count as a TEST GRADE, so do a good job!
Print a copy of the following to turn in on Monday after you present to class:
1. "How To Be..." Poem (footer with bibliography info.)
2. Copy of the poem selected of the poet (footer with bibliography info.)
3. One-page analysis of the poem (double-spaced, 12-14 font)
